Traspetro ship aframax shipyard AES PERNAMBUCO EAS ATLÂNICO SUL

Transpetro baptized this Thursday (27/06), at Estaleiro Atlântico Sul (EAS), in Pernambuco, the last of the five aframax ordered by the company. With 249 meters in length, 43 meters in breadth (width) and capacity of 114 deadweight tons (DWT), the Portinari vessel was built to transport oil and is heading to Salvador (BA) for its first supply.

The name of the vessel honors the famous painter Candido Portinari, one of the main Brazilian artists of the XNUMXth century, author of works such as “The First Mass in Brazil”, “Saint Francis of Assisi” and “War and Peace”. The first stop of the new vessel will be in Salvador (BA) to supply fuel. The other four aframax (Castro Alves, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Olavo Bilac and Garrincha) are already in operation.
