UEMA is open for registration for free courses. There are more than 600 open places in the free EAD postgraduate course, check the details and register.
The State University of Maranhão (UEMA) announced the opening of a new notice on 05/07. The notice allocates 660 places for a selection process to access the free Ead lato sensu postgraduate course in Religious Sciences, in distance learning, in partnership with the Open University System of Brazil.

The free EAD postgraduate course and Specialization in Religious Sciences aims to train professionals who are interested in deepen your knowledge, and thus obtain the certificate of Specialist in Religious Sciences. Participants study concepts about the history of religions, comparative theologies and the influences on different religious manifestations. Furthermore, the specialization also encompasses topics such as ethics, philosophy of religion and inter-religious dialogue.
The total workload is 435 hours developed remotely, and can count on in-person activity to defend the TCC. The free EAD postgraduate course is aimed at bachelors, graduates and technologists, preferably in the education field, who are interested in working in the course area. Candidates who meet the following requirements can apply:

- Hold a Bachelor's, Degree or Higher Technology Course diploma issued by an Educational Institution recognized by the MEC;
- Have availability and resources to participate in face-to-face meetings on weekends when previously scheduled by the Course Coordination;
- Live in a municipality in the state of Maranhão;
- Have continuous access to the internet and knowledge to use technological tools.
Among the desirable requirements are:
- Present experience in basic education in the areas of teaching, management, supervision or pedagogical coordination;
- Present proof of activity as a religious or community leader.

Registration for UEMA's free EAD postgraduate course is carried out through the institution's website, until July 17, 2024. The registration fee for free courses is R$50,00.
Interested parties must fill out the form and attach, obligatorily, the documentation listed in the notice, in the registration system, as well as other proof of title and experience, for scoring in the Analysis of Titles and Documents, in compliance with the Curricular Assessment Framework.

To attach the documentation to the system, at the time of registration, the candidate must observe the basic documents required to participate in the selection, namely Identity Card (RG), Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF), Diploma accompanied by Bachelor's Course History , Degree or Higher Technology Course issued by an Educational Institution recognized by the MEC, among others.
The selection process for the free EAD postgraduate course will consist of Title and Document Analysis, according to the Curricular Assessment Framework, in a single, classificatory stage. For the Analysis of Titles and Documents, documents attached to the registration system will be considered, in compliance with the scores described in the Curricular Assessment Framework.
Candidates included within the number of vacancies per Center will be classified in descending order of the total points obtained in the Analysis of Titles and Documents. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker criteria will be adopted, in the order described in the Notice.
