UEMA Is Accepting Applications for Free Courses. There Are Over 600 Spots Available in a Free Distance Learning Postgraduate Course, Check the Details and Complete Your Registration.
The State University of Maranhão (UEMA) announced the opening of a new announcement on 07/05. The announcement allocates 660 spots for a selection process for access to the free distance learning postgraduate course in Religion Sciences, in partnership with the Open University System of Brazil.

The free distance learning postgraduate course and Specialization in Religion Sciences aims to train professionals interested in deepening their knowledge, thus obtaining the Specialist certificate in Religion Sciences. Participants will study concepts about the history of religions, comparative theologies, and the influences on different religious manifestations. Additionally, the specialization also covers topics such as ethics, philosophy of religion, and inter-religious dialogue.
The total workload is 435 hours developed remotely, which may include in-person activities for the defense of the final thesis. The free distance learning postgraduate course is aimed at graduates, licensed professionals, and technology specialists, preferably from the education area, who are interested in working in the course area. Candidates who meet the following requirements may apply:

Take an engineering course WITHOUT LEAVING home and for free! Universities open enrollment for an online Engineering course recognized by the MEC.

Free courses in São Paulo open 1,000 spots in 50 in-person and online programs.

SENAI-MA opens registrations for 155 free vacancies in professional qualification courses with in-person technical training, defined criteria, and a focus on industrial areas with labor demand.

Federal Institute launches free technical course for nursing technicians; there are 36 open slots to study at IFRS.
- Hold a degree in Bachelor’s, Teaching, or Higher Technology issued by an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC);
- Have availability and resources to attend in-person meetings on weekends when scheduled in advance by the Course Coordination;
- Reside in a municipality in the state of Maranhão;
- Have continuous internet access and knowledge to use technological tools.
Desirable requirements include:
- Demonstrated experience in basic education in teaching, management, supervision, or pedagogical coordination;
- Proof of involvement as a religious or community leader.

Applications for the free distance learning postgraduate course at UEMA are made through the institution’s website until July 17, 2024. The registration fee for the free courses is R$ 50.00.
Interested parties must fill out the form and attach, mandatory, the documentation listed in the announcement, in the registration system, as well as other proofs of title and experience, for scoring in the Titles and Documents Analysis, in accordance with the Curriculum Evaluation Framework.

Find Out How the Selection Process for UEMA’s Free Courses Will Work
To attach documentation in the system at the time of registration, the candidate must observe the basic required documents to participate in the selection, which include identity card (RG), Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF), Diploma accompanied by History of Bachelor’s, Teaching, or Higher Technology issued by an educational institution recognized by MEC, among others.
The selection process for the free distance learning postgraduate course will consist of Title and Document Analysis, according to the Curriculum Evaluation Framework, in a single and classificatory stage. For the Titles and Documents Analysis, the documents attached to the registration system will be considered, in accordance with the scores described in the Curriculum Evaluation Framework.
Candidates will be classified in descending order of the total points obtained in the Titles and Documents Analysis, included within the number of vacancies by Polo. In case of a tie, tie-breaking criteria will be adopted, in the order described in the Announcement.
