Registrations for the 2025 UFRGS Entrance Exam are almost over! The deadline to register is next Monday, September 23, 2024. UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul), one of the best universities in the world, offers more than 4,000 spots distributed across 97 undergraduate courses.

The registration process is entirely done through the university’s website. After filling out the form, candidates must verify the information and print the boleto for the payment of the fee of R$180, which can be paid until September 24. It is important to remember that even those who received tax authorization need to complete the registration process. The system will automatically consider the benefit when the CPF is provided.

What Changes in the 2025 UFRGS Entrance Exam?

This year, the 2025 UFRGS Entrance Exam brings some updates, mainly in the quota rules. From now on, there is a specific reservation of spots for self-declared quilombola candidates, an important inclusion in the university’s access policies. In this way, the income strategies have changed, and now the requirement is that the family income per capita is up to one national minimum wage, currently R$1,412.00.

Data and Locations of the Tests

The tests for the 2025 UFRGS Entrance Exam are scheduled for November 30 and December 1, 2024. They will be held starting at 2 PM in several cities in Rio Grande do Sul: Bento Gonçalves, Canoas, Gravataí, Novo Hamburgo, Porto Alegre, and Tramandaí.

On the first day, candidates will face the essay and questions on Portuguese Language, Literature in Portuguese, History, Geography, and Mathematics. On the second day, the subjects are Modern Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Students taking the Literature test need to pay attention to the list of mandatory readings available on the entrance exam website.

How to Prepare for the 2025 UFRGS Entrance Exam?

With the entrance exam getting closer, the tip is to intensify studies and get organized. Reviewing subjects from the first and second day, and especially practicing the essay, is essential.

If you haven’t registered yet, hurry! The deadline is until Monday, September 23, and the payment of the fee must be made by the 24th. Good luck to the candidates, who will compete for one of the more than 4,000 spots at UFRGS, a university recognized worldwide.
