Candidates interested in joining the Brazilian Army’s military engineers cadre have until July 10, 2024, to register for the competition. A total of 137 vacancies are offered, distributed between high school degree courses and vacancies for candidates with a completed higher education, according to Segundo a Segundo’s website. Army contest salaries range from R$ 1,334.00 to R$ 8,245.00.
Details of the Vacancies Offered in the Army Contest
Of the 137 vacancies, 98 are designated for candidates with a completed high school diploma for degree courses, while 39 are for graduates in engineering. Out of the total vacancies, 60 are for the Active Officer Training and Graduation Course (CFG/Ativa) and 38 for the Officer Training and Graduation Course of the Reserve (CFG/Reserva).

Selection Process of the Army Contest
The selection process includes several stages:
- Intellectual Exam;
- Health Inspection;
- Physical Aptitude Exam;
- Psychological Evaluation;
- Heteroidentification Procedure;
Registrations must be made exclusively online, on the Military Institute of Engineering website, on the sites mentioned above. The payment of registration fees, amounting to R$ 140 for CFG/Ativa and CFG/Reserva and R$ 150 for CFrm, must be made by July 11.
