The course, titled “Training for Teaching and Management in Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and Quilombola School Education”, was launched by the State University of Amazonas (UEA) in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB) and the Pro-Rectorate of Extension and Community Affairs (PROEX).

Target Audience and Requirements
The course is aimed at basic education professionals from the municipal and state public networks of Amazonas who reside in Manaus.
To participate, it is necessary to have an active link with public education and skills in using digital tools, such as computers and internet access.
Among the main objectives of the program are:
- Fostering racial literacy among educators;
- Building alternatives for inclusive pedagogical practices;
- Valuing the cultures, traditions, and ancestral languages of black and quilombola communities;
- Strengthening the implementation of the National Education Guidelines and Framework Law (LDB).
Course Structure
The program has a workload of 120 hours, divided into four thematic modules.
The activities include synchronous and asynchronous classes, as well as interactive projects, seminars, and video tutorials.
