The State University of Rio Grande do Sul (Uergs) Offers Free Opportunities for Professional Training in the First Semester of 2025

The State University of Rio Grande do Sul (Uergs) is open for registration for three specialization courses and a new degree in engineering, all starting in the first semester of 2025. These initiatives aim to meet the demands for professional qualification and promote sustainable development.

Specialization Courses at Uergs

The available specializations include:

  • Public Management, which will be offered for the first time at the Uergs unit in São Borja.
  • Reader Formation Theory and Practice, whose 6th class will open at the Porto Alegre unit.

Registration for these courses is open until February 21. Another specialization, Public Health, will also take place in Porto Alegre and is offered in partnership with the Public Health School of Rio Grande do Sul.

For this course, registration closes earlier, on January 21.

New Degree in Transportation and Mobility Engineering

Uergs, in partnership with the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), has launched the course in Transportation and Mobility Engineering (CETMob), which will be offered at the Porto Alegre unit.

This degree aims to train professionals capable of facing the challenges of urban growth and sustainable development, addressing topics such as road safety, accessibility, and transport mode management.

Registration for CETMob will be open from January 14 to 21, 2025. The selection will be based on the scores of the National High School Exam (Enem) from 2020 to 2024.
