Fortunately, thanks to the quick response of the Fire Department and SAMU, the situation was effectively controlled, avoiding what could have been a disaster of much larger proportions. The two train operators injured in the incident received immediate medical attention and were transported to the Formiga Hospital, highlighting the effectiveness and preparedness of local emergency teams.

Furthermore, the diesel leak, although significant, was contained in time, minimizing the risk of severe environmental damage. The Environmental Military Police took action, assessing the risks and ensuring that necessary measures were taken to protect the local flora and fauna.
