Currently, the partnership and civil construction projects at the Itaipu dam have generated over 1,400 job positions and another two thousand positions will be distributed to the public in 2021.

The idea is to generate more job positions in the civil construction industry, as the initial works of the bridge alone generated over 545 direct jobs on the Brazilian and Paraguayan banks. The Itaipu dam is a large hydroelectric dam on the Paraná River between Brazil and Paraguay. It is known for its nighttime light shows and views from the central lookout. The control room of the Production Building monitors the dam’s turbines.
