Volkswagen has finally confirmed that the Nivus, its coupe SUV, will have a sporty GTS version, following the example of the Polo. The brand revealed that more details will be released in the first half of 2025, but there is still no information on pricing or technical specifications. Today, on October 14, JC Pavone, head of design at Volkswagen for North and South America, shared a sketch of the GTS emblem, suggesting that the sporty version of the Nivus is on its way, something that has been speculated through sightings in recent months.
Sporty Design and Exclusive Details on the Coupe SUV
So far, Volkswagen has released two official images of the new model. At the front, the Nivus 2025 displays the GTS emblem both on the grille and the front doors. The car also features new 18-inch wheels with an exclusive design. At the back, the exclusive upper spoiler of the version and the GTS emblem centered on the trunk stand out. Additionally, the roof and mirror covers will be painted black. SUV

Following the line of the Polo GTS, the Nivus GTS is expected to feature special preparation in both design and dynamic performance. According to previous sightings, the version may have bumpers with wider openings and sporty cuts, headlights with IQ.Light LED Matrix technology, a grille with illuminated trim, and 18-inch wheels with a distinct design. The taillights may receive a new internal arrangement and possibly interconnected lighting, something that has been anticipated. SUV
