Xiaomi launches cordless upright vacuum cleaner that empties dust by itself, reveals dirt with blue light, and promises up to 90 minutes of use.
Xiaomi has launched in China a cordless upright vacuum cleaner that attempts to solve one of the most annoying parts of household cleaning: emptying the dust container after each use. The new Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 4 Pro comes with a base that automatically sucks the dirt from the device, deposits everything in an antibacterial bag, and promises to reduce manual maintenance for up to 100 days.
According to information today (05/26) by Gizmochina, the model hit the Chinese market for 1,499 yuan, about R$ 1,106 in direct conversion, without taxes, shipping, importation, or Brazilian margin. The product combines strong suction, long battery, light to reveal hidden dust, anti-tangle hair brush, and self-emptying base.
Xiaomi vacuum empties dust by itself in 11 seconds and reduces contact with dirt
The main differentiator of the Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 4 Pro is the self-emptying system. When the vacuum is placed on the base, the accumulated dirt in the container is automatically transferred to a 3-liter dust bag.

Xiaomi claims the process takes just 11 seconds and collects up to 99% of the dust inside the vacuum compartment. The bag has an antibacterial coating with silver ions and, according to the brand, can last up to 100 days in typical use before needing replacement.
This changes the user experience because the user does not need to open the container all the time, beat the filter, spread dust in the air, or come into direct contact with the dirt.
180° blue light helps to see hidden dust on the floor
Another useful feature is the 180° blue light, installed on the main brush. This function serves to illuminate dust particles, hair, and small debris that usually go unnoticed on light floors, corners, and dimly lit areas.
This type of lighting facilitates actual cleaning, not just the appearance of the floor. Instead of vacuuming “in the dark,” the user can see where fine dirt is still accumulated.

For those with pets, children, or a lot of dust at home, this feature can be more useful than simply increasing the motor power.
Anti-tangle brush prevents trapped hair and reduces manual work
The vacuum also uses a brush designed to reduce the accumulation of tangled hair and fur. This is a common problem in upright vacuums, especially in homes with animals, people with long hair, or carpets.
The purpose of the anti-tangle brush is to decrease the need to stop cleaning to cut threads stuck in the roller. In practice, this reduces maintenance and prevents performance loss over time.
This detail is important because many powerful vacuums lose efficiency precisely when the brush gets blocked by hair, thread, animal fur, or compacted dirt.
120,000 rpm motor delivers strong suction for dust, hair, and larger particles
The Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 4 Pro comes with a high-speed brushless motor, capable of reaching 120,000 revolutions per minute. According to Xiaomi, the set delivers 230 AW of suction power and a maximum vacuum of 25,000 Pa.
In practice, this places the product in a category aimed at heavier domestic cleaning, including fine dust, animal hair, sand, crumbs, carpet dirt, and larger particles.
Xiaomi also positions the model as an option for dealing with common daily residues, such as hair, dust, pet food, cat litter, and accumulated dirt on hard floors.
Battery promises up to 90 minutes of use in economy mode
Autonomy is another strong point. Xiaomi reports that the vacuum cleaner can operate for up to 90 minutes in the lowest power mode.
This time is enough to clean larger houses without needing to recharge midway, as long as the user uses the economy mode. In stronger modes, autonomy tends to decrease, as is the case with practically all cordless vacuums.
Even so, the promise of 90 minutes helps position the product above basic models, which often deliver less usage time and require frequent recharging.
Filter retains fine particles up to 0.3 micron
The filtration system is also highlighted by Xiaomi. According to the company, the vacuum can filter 99.99% of particles up to 0.3 micron, helping to reduce fine dust returned to the environment.
This detail is relevant for those who suffer from dust, hair, and suspended particles, although it does not replace proper cleaning, ventilation, and specific care in cases of allergies.
The useful point is that the vacuum not only sucks up visible dirt. It also tries to prevent some of the fine dust from returning to the air during use.
3-liter base transforms the vacuum into a low-maintenance cleaning system
The self-emptying base is what most closely aligns the Mijia 4 Pro with premium robot vacuums. Instead of functioning as a common upright vacuum that requires frequent emptying, it becomes a system with its own collection station.
The 3-liter bag allows dirt to accumulate for weeks, depending on usage frequency and house size. Xiaomi claims that the user can go up to 100 days without changing the bag under typical use.
This is the kind of feature that makes life easier for those who want convenience: vacuum, dock it on the base, and let the device handle the dirtiest part of the process.
Smart integration reinforces connected home proposal
The product also features integration with the Xiaomi Smart Connect ecosystem, allowing connection with other brand devices.
This function is not the main point of the vacuum cleaner, but it reinforces Xiaomi’s strategy: turning common appliances into connected pieces of the smart home.
In actual use, the most relevant features remain self-emptying, autonomy, suction, blue light, and anti-tangle brush.
Xiaomi targets those who want power without dealing with dust after cleaning
The Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 4 Pro does not just try to compete with traditional upright vacuums. It attempts to address the most annoying points in daily use: low autonomy, hair stuck in the brush, invisible dust on the floor, and a reservoir that needs to be cleaned manually.
The Chinese price of about R$ 1,106 in direct conversion makes the proposal even more appealing, but this value should not be treated as the Brazilian price. There is no confirmation of the model’s official launch in Brazil.
The common upright vacuum starts to seem limited when a cordless model can already clean, reveal hidden dirt, and empty its own dust in a few seconds.
