With support from the foundation that bears her name, Prasiddhi Singh expanded environmental actions in more than 120 locations, combining tree planting, natural area restoration, and mobilization of young volunteers
Indian Prasiddhi Singh had already planted 140,000 trees by July 2024, according to Innovation World. Still a child, she gained international recognition, created an environmental foundation, and began working in schools, offices, community areas, mangroves, and lakes. The most current numbers, according to UNICEF India, show that the young woman has already led, through the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation, the planting of about 200,000 trees in more than 120 locations.

140,000 trees and recognition still in childhood
Prasiddhi’s journey gained prominence when she received, at 8 years old, the Dal Puraskar, an Indian order of merit.
At the time, she claimed to have planted 14 “fruit forests” in government schools, offices, and community spaces.

Foundation expanded environmental actions
It was during this period that Prasiddhi founded the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation. The initiative began organizing actions related to tree planting, mangrove restoration, and lake recovery.
The efforts expanded the project’s impact beyond fruit forests, including important environments for environmental conservation and local communities.

With the foundation, Prasiddhi also organizes classes, workshops, and events based on the so-called “3G Network”: “Generate” your own oxygen, “Grow” your own food, and “Give” your own effort.
