The Most Awarded Kia Model Will Be Revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 20 With a Complete Redesign, New Hybrid Powertrain, Updated Interior, and X-Pro Off-Road Variants.
Kia has officially confirmed that the new 2027 Telluride will be revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 20.
This is the second generation of the three-row SUV that, since its launch in 2020, has won awards such as the Car and Driver 10Best and has established itself as one of the most important models of the brand in the North American market.
Hybrid and V6 Among the Powertrains
According to the automaker, the big news will be the debut of a 329-horsepower hybrid version, sharing the same gasoline turbo and electric system as the newly refreshed Hyundai Palisade Hybrid.

Cheaper than Fiat Pulse, Renault Kardian, and Volkswagen Tera: with a 2.0 turbo engine of 190 hp, 30.6 kgfm torque, automatic transmission, and Swedish safety package, this premium hatch delivers sports car performance at the price of a new compact: meet the Volvo V40 T4 Momentum 2017.
-
Cheaper than a new Mobi and a Polo: with a 1.8 engine of up to 139 hp, 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission, 300 liters of trunk space, and a complete equipment package, this hatch stands out for its performance and cost-effectiveness for those seeking sportiness without spending too much. Meet the Fiat Argo HGT 2018.

Toyota launches “family hybrid van” with 7 or 8 seats, 1.8 hybrid engine, fuel consumption of up to 23.8 km/l, and a price equivalent to about R$ 104,000 without taxes, below the Tiggo 8 Pro Plug-in Hybrid sold in Brazil: meet the Noah Hybrid 2026 in Japan.

With the look of a compact SUV and the price of a rational used car: 1.5 flex engine with 115 hp, automatic transmission, 420-liter trunk, and multimedia make the Caoa Chery Tiggo 2 Look 1.5 AT 2020 an unconventional alternative.
In addition, the model is expected to retain the 3.5-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine as a conventional option. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive (AWD) will continue to be available across the lineup.
X-Pro Version Reinforces Off-Road Capability
Kia will also enhance the model’s ruggedness.
The X-Pro variants will feature all-terrain tires, reinforced suspension, and equipment geared towards those looking to explore trails and rugged terrains, broadening the consumer base.
New Design and More Interior Space
Projections and spy shots of prototypes already indicate that the SUV will maintain its characteristic square look, but with redesigned headlights and a more modern stance.
The official teaser from Kia showed only the outline of the new headlights, heightening the anticipation for the debut.
Inside, the brand promises a leap in sophistication with higher-quality materials and more space for passengers, resulting from the growth in external dimensions.
Technological Leap and Market
The 2027 Telluride will be positioned as a direct alternative to heavyweight rivals in the large SUV segment, such as Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, and Ford Explorer.
Additionally, Kia has confirmed that the model will not have a 2026 version, transitioning directly from the 2025 lineup to the new launch.
The expectation is that the SUV will reach dealerships in the United States in early 2027, with prices yet to be announced.
