The Bolsa Idiomas 2024 Program is open for registration in Manaus, offering a total of 38.264 vacancies for foreign language courses. The initiative, promoted by the School of Municipal Public Service and Socio-educational Inclusion (Espi), seeks to promote social and educational inclusion through language teaching, according to the website Segundo a Segundo.
The available places on language courses include full scholarships (100%), 75% and 50% of the monthly fee at 16 language teaching institutions in the city. This means that students from different income brackets will have the opportunity to benefit from the program.
Requirements for participation in language courses
2024 students aged 10 and over can apply for places on Bolsa Idiomas language courses, as long as they are residents of Manaus. Additionally, you must be studying or have completed elementary school, have a per capita income of no more than 2,5 minimum wages (R$ 3.530, in current values) and not be a beneficiary of a similar program maintained by the public authorities.

Registration period for language course vacancies
