Electrified Versions

In addition to the pickup, Suzuki is investing in versions of the electric Jimny. The brand has officially confirmed that by 2030, a 100% electric version of the Jimny will be available in the European market. This move aligns with the global trend of electrification and the growing demand for more sustainable vehicles.

Currently, the Suzuki Jimny Sierra comes equipped with a 1.5-liter 16-valve engine, mounted longitudinally, delivering 108 hp of power and 14.1 kgfm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The traction system is robust, providing excellent off-road performance, a characteristic that is expected to be maintained in future pickup and electrified versions.

The Expansion of Japanese Suzuki

Suzuki is ready to expand the Jimny lineup with new versions, including electric ones that promise to meet various market segments. The introduction of a five-door pickup based on the Jimny and the confirmation of electrified models by 2030 demonstrate the brand’s commitment to innovate and adapt to automotive market trends.

The expectation is that these new versions of electric cars will further strengthen Suzuki’s position in the global market, offering versatile and sustainable options for consumers. Stay tuned for upcoming news and releases from the Japanese brand, which continues to surprise with its capacity for innovation and adaptation.
