Solar Projects in Lombardy and Marche Beginning Operation in Early 2025, with Renewable Energy Capacity, Solar Systems Provider, and Guarantees of Origin.
The French renewable energy company, Neoen, has begun construction on its first three renewable energy projects in Italy. These solar parks, totaling a capacity of 24.7 MW, are being built in Lombardy (8 MW and 7.6 MW) and Marche (9.1 MW). Neoen is responsible for the development of the projects and will retain 100% ownership, with the EPC provider Intec Energy Solutions responsible for the turnkey contract for construction. The solar plants are expected to be commissioned in early 2025, as part of Neoen’s strategy to contract a significant portion of the electricity generated by its assets, along with the guarantees of origin, through power purchase agreements.
