With A Breath-Taking Renovation, The New Fiat Panda EV Promises To Conquer The Public With Its New “Way”

The Fiat Panda, an icon of the Italian brand, is receiving a significant renovation with a new design and an electric update. The Fiat Grande Panda EV combines “Italian personality” with a renewed retro style, promising to win the hearts of consumers, according to the website Electrek.

During the Geneva Motor Show in February, Fiat unveiled five new concepts inspired by the Panda. The first of them, a slightly larger city car than the Panda, is scheduled to be launched in July.

The Grande Panda vehicle is the pioneer of Fiat’s new global line, based on a multi-energy platform. This platform is also shared with the new Citroën e-C3, which has a starting price of US$ 25,000 (€ 23,300).

Retro And Compact Design In The New Electric Vehicle

With a length of 3.99 meters (157”), the new Panda is a compact family car inspired by the Panda of the 1980s. Despite its compact size, it is even smaller than the Chevy Bolt EV, which is 163.2”.

The robust and retro design of the Panda electric vehicle is evident in its wedge shape, prominent wheel arches, and dynamic curves. The electric vehicle’s “Italian personality” is highlighted by features such as the unique pixel-style headlights arranged in a checkerboard pattern and the giant “Panda” letters on the side.

Global Launch

Fiat plans to launch the new Grande Panda vehicle in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, marking the start of its new global range. This will be the first of a series of new Fiat vehicles that will be launched annually until 2027.

Although there is no confirmation about the launch of the electric vehicle in the USA, Fiat has already launched its first electric car in the USA, the 500e, starting at US$ 32,500 (excluding destination), being one of the most affordable EVs in the American market.
