Caoa Chery’s Mid-Size Sedan Bets on a Premium Technology Package, 1.5 Turbo Engine with 48V Mild-Hybrid System and Competitive Price Against Rivals.
The Arrizo 6 Pro Max Drive 2025 is priced at R$ 141,990 — or R$ 139,990 in black, with no additional cost. The mid-size sedan arrives with a focus on cost-effectiveness, offering technological features generally found in more expensive models.
Highlights include adaptive cruise control (ACC), 360° high-definition camera, electric sunroof, and driver assistance systems grouped under the “Max Drive” package. The model reinforces Caoa Chery’s strategy to compete for space in the segment with high-end equipment and aggressive pricing.
Highlighted Equipment and Technology

The “Max Drive” package includes a complete set of ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems). Features include lane-keeping assist, blind-spot detection, cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beam switching. The ACC uses radar to maintain distance from the vehicle ahead, a feature previously rare in sedans in this price range.

The model also gained digital air conditioning, rain sensor, and electric parking brake with Auto Hold, in addition to a 100% digital 10.25-inch instrument panel and a multimedia system of the same size compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The interior trim features soft-touch materials, an electric driver’s seat, six airbags, and wireless phone charging.
Powertrain and Performance
The Arrizo 6 Pro Max Drive 2025 features a 1.5 turbo flex engine with indirect injection, capable of delivering 147 hp on gasoline and 150 hp on ethanol, with a torque of 21.4 kgfm. The 48V mild-hybrid system adds electric support during starts and accelerations, raising the combined power to up to 160 hp and around 25 kgfm of torque.
The transmission is a CVT that simulates up to 9 gears. According to Inmetro data, fuel consumption reaches 12.5 km/l in the city and 13.5 km/l on the highway with gasoline. However, presenter Stanley, responsible for the evaluation, stated that in economical driving the sedan can exceed 17 to 18 km/l on the highway.
Design and Interior Space
Visually, the Arrizo 6 Pro Max Drive 2025 stands out with full-LED headlights with DRL, 17-inch wheels with 205/50 tires, and integrated rear lights. The interior emphasizes refined finishing, a complete digital dashboard, and a responsive multimedia system.
One of the drawbacks noted is the reduced trunk space, which lost volume due to the battery for the 48V electrical system. Still, the model retains a rear suspension with a torsion beam and disc brakes on all wheels — ventilated in the front and solid in the back.
Cost-Effectiveness Against Rivals
With a suggested price of R$ 141,990, the Arrizo 6 Pro Max Drive 2025 offers safety and technology features that usually only appear in sedans costing over R$ 180,000. Items like ACC, 360° camera, sunroof, and electric seat give it an advantage over direct competitors like Honda Civic (imported), Toyota Corolla, and Nissan Sentra, although the brand’s stature and resale value may influence the purchasing decision.
Caoa Chery thus reinforces its strategy of offering complete packages at lower prices, enhancing its competitiveness in an increasingly demanding segment.
And you, do you believe the Arrizo 6 Pro Max Drive 2025 can compete on equal footing with Corolla and Civic for the technology package, or does the resale history still pose a hurdle? Share your opinion in the comments.
