Technology with ozone, automatic sensors, and smart supply highlights the new Brastemp washer and dryer by promising waterless cleaning, care for delicate clothes, and fewer steps in the household routine, expanding the traditional use of a washing machine.

Brastemp expanded its laundry line with the Lava e Seca BNQ14, a front load model with 14 kg for washing and 8 kg for drying that combines an ozone cycle, automated washing and drying, dispenser with auto-dosing, and features to sanitize clothes and objects.

Presented on the brand’s official page, the product is described as a washer and dryer capable of cleaning items that cannot be wet, including leather pieces, plush toys, pillows, and even cell phones, without using water in the Ozone Clean cycle.

With this feature, the launch differentiates itself from a conventional washing machine by offering dry cleaning with ozone generated by the equipment itself, without the need for gas replacement by the consumer and without the need for soap, steam, or water in this specific function.

According to Brastemp, the technology acts in a few minutes to remove microorganisms and odors from objects and fabrics sensitive to water, which extends the use of the washer and dryer beyond the clothes washed daily.

Ozone Clean expands the use of the washer and dryer

Responsible for the model’s main promise, the Ozone Clean was developed to clean without water items that would normally require separate care, specialized washing, or greater attention to avoid damage caused by moisture during cleaning.

In the official communication, Brastemp cites leather, plush toys, pillows, and cell phones as examples of objects and materials that can go through the cycle, always associating the function with the removal of microorganisms and odors in sensitive items.

Inside the drum, ozone gas is used in a specific dry cleaning process, without requiring additional products or user intervention beyond selecting the indicated cycle on the washer and dryer’s panel.

As the machine itself generates ozone during operation, there is no need to buy refills or replace components to keep the function active, simplifying the use of the feature within the household routine.

Intelligent sensors adjust washing and drying

In addition to the ozone cycle, the BNQ14 features B= Smart technology, created to automate decisions that are usually up to the user before starting a wash, such as time, water, and type of cycle.

According to Brastemp’s official release, the system uses seven intelligent sensors to automatically adjust the washing process, considering the type of fabric, load size, and the needs of the selected cycle.

During drying, the same automation concept appears in reading the moisture level of the items, allowing the machine to adjust the operating time according to the condition of the load inside the drum.

With this adjustment, the proposal is to reduce both overly long cycles and insufficient drying, delivering clothes ready for use without requiring the consumer to manually estimate the ideal time for each combination of fabrics.

Soap and Softener with Monthly Auto-dosing

Another important feature of the model is the auto-dosing dispenser, which stores liquid soap and softener in larger quantities so that the washer-dryer itself calculates the necessary volume for each wash.

Instead of refilling the compartments before every cycle, the user can leave the products in the reservoir and allow the system to perform automatic dosing, reducing waste and simplifying frequent washes.

On the sales page for the Titanium BNQ14AS model, Brastemp states that the monthly refill estimate considers normal liquid soap and softener at the maximum capacity of the day-to-day cycle, with an approximate average of 2.5 washes per week.

This condition shows that the promise of a once-a-month refill depends on usage patterns, washing frequency, and the products used, as more intense routines may require refilling at shorter intervals.

Cycles for Stains, Odors, and Sanitization

Among the conventional cycles, the BNQ14 Washer-Dryer includes functions aimed at caring for fabrics, removing tough dirt, and sanitizing clothes that need more intense treatment during washing.

The 100 Stains Cycle is presented by Brastemp as an option for treating tough dirt, with the possibility of selecting the type of stain on the panel or using the Pro Stain Remover mode to enhance the wash.

The Steam + Ozone Power feature combines steam and ozone to sanitize fabrics, remove odors, and help de-wrinkle items, and can be added at the end of any cycle to intensify care for clothes.

Brastemp states that this function eliminates 100% of mites and 99.99% of bacteria, a percentage different from what appears in the title maintained in this version, as well as acting in reducing odors and finishing the items.

Also part of the set is the anti-fungal seal, described by the brand as a technology capable of preventing the proliferation of fungi by 99.9%, helping to reduce bad odors and the need for frequent cleaning of the rubber.

On the sales page, the manufacturer also mentions tests related to bacteria, mites, and fungi, including CHEARI and SGS laboratories, according to standards mentioned by Brastemp itself in the official product description.

Design, colors, and official price of the Brastemp BNQ14

In the brand’s portfolio, the washer and dryer appear in the colors Titanium and Midnight Purple, with the latter being presented by Brastemp as a new shade for the launch within the laundry category.

The look follows the proposal of a unique touch panel and simplified interface, while the set of functions includes precise washing, automatic door opening at the end of the cycle, super capacity, and Xpert Inverter motor with a ten-year warranty.

The price information has been updated in relation to the initial announcement, which indicated a value not yet informed, because the official Brastemp store already displays the Titanium BNQ14AS version with a sale price.

On the purchase page, the Washer and Dryer B= Smart 14 kg/8 kg Titanium BNQ14AS is listed for R$ 6,489.00, with voltage options of 110 V and 220 V and installment plans informed by the brand itself.

By combining a waterless cycle, automatic sensors, and less frequent detergent and softener refills, the BNQ14 aims to transform the washer and dryer into a more comprehensive equipment for the care of clothes, fabrics, and everyday objects.

In practice, the proposal takes the laundry into a competition for more automated appliances, where the promise is not only to wash better but also to reduce repetitive decisions and manual steps in the household routine.

Would you trust a washer and dryer to sanitize objects like a cell phone, wallet, or pillow without using water?
