BYD's new electric car dealerships will be fully operational by the end of 2022. There will be around 5 dealerships distributed across Brazilian states. The multinational's goal is to open more than 45 points of sale in Brazil.

A multinational BYD announced on Friday (25), the name of another partner that will help the automaker in the process of creating a network of dealerships for the resale of its electric cars in Brazil. BYD named the white eagle group, whose new goal is to inaugurate at least five dealerships in the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, by the end of 2022.

Headquartered in Espírito Santo, where it began its activities in 1946, Grupo Águia Branca is active throughout Brazil, in various segments of transport, logistics and vehicle sales.

According to the plan, BYD resellers will be located in Belo Horizonte, Uberlândia and Juiz de Fora/MG, and in the cities of Vitória and Vila Velha/ES. According to BYD's sales director, Henrique Antunes, the main objective is to be present, in principle, in the big cities of Brazil, combining the experiences of groups operating in the automotive market.

Antunes also said that soon, the Águia Branca Group will announce other cities in which they will build new ones. BYD electric car dealerships. The goal is to open 45 dealerships in Brazil by the end of 2022, with representatives from São Paulo, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to 14 more points of sale for electric cars and hybrid cars in Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo.

In the previous year, BYD was present at the Electric Experience, an event held in the interior of São Paulo with the support of several partners and InsideEVs Brasil to promote electric mobility in the country. The Chinese brand launched the BYD Tan and also its new strategy for electric passenger cars in the country.

This year, BYD will introduce the new sedan electric car from the BYD Han range, which will go on sale soon, by the end of the first half. In the future, starting in the second half, BYD intends to present the BYD Song models, a Hybrid SUV which has stood out for its total autonomy of 1.200 km, in addition to the hybrid sedan BYD Qin Plus, which has an average consumption of 26 km and a range in electric mode of 55 km or 120 km, depending on the version chosen.

BYD Energia Limpa e Renovável arrived in Brazil in mid-2015, when it inaugurated its first 100% electric bus assembly plant, located in Campinas, São Paulo. In 2017, BYD opened a second factory in Campinas, dedicated to the production of photovoltaic modules. In mid-April 2021, BYD Brasil joined the Global Compact, an initiative of the United Nations (UN), to mobilize the entire business community in the adoption and promotion system, during its business practices, of Ten universal Principles, which are accepted in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. In 2021, the multinational took the first step to start selling electric cars and other motor vehicles in Brazil, presenting the Tan EV SUV model and the appointment of EuroBike.
