Unlike models that have basic EVs, the Aptera model requires only 15 minutes of charging, which will be more than enough to drive about 240 kilometers without any interruption. Basically, its range on a completely clear and sunny day is 65 km of perfect range.

This new model of solar-powered car is produced with fiberglass, carbon, aluminum, and hemp-type materials, with most of its panel designed to be printed on a 3D printer, leading to greater reductions in emissions and costs. Its price is estimated at around US$ 25 thousand.
The Californian startup Aptera Motors, since the announcement of the solar-powered Aptera model, has already received just over 7,000 orders to be delivered to requesting consumers by 2021.
