The Event Will Be Held on November 8 and Stands Out for Interactivity
The logistics case of the largest and most comprehensive construction materials store in Southern Brazil integrates the content of the 30th edition of the Workshop on Logistics, Solutions, and Trends. The technical congress is considered the largest itinerant logistics workshop in the Brazilian market, is free of charge, and takes place on November 8, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at Centreventos Itajaí. The workshop will cover topics related to logistics and supply chain, bringing to the region the expertise of companies that have logistics as their competitive differentiators.
Fábio Teixeira, General Manager of Logistics at Cassol Centerlar, will address the application of Lean Methodology in retail operations of construction materials. The use of this methodology, according to the specialist, enables efficiency gains and service levels, transforming logistics into a sales-promoting tool.
“Logistics has been undergoing a transformation over the years and after the pandemic it has taken on a central and fundamental role in commercial strategies,” he points out. Fábio also states that logistics today is directly responsible for the key decision-making processes, not only for the company, but especially for the customer. “Therefore, having an operation with processes focused on customer needs is what transforms logistics from a detractor into a sales promoter.”
