Cefet/RJ has published a notice with 350 openings in free technical-level courses in the subsequential modality for high school graduates, that is, for those who have already completed high school, at the Maracanã and Maria da Graça campuses. The registration is completely free and can be done online until 3 PM next Monday (the 19th).

The Maracanã campus is offering 280 openings, with 140 of them allocated to the quota system. The opportunities at Cefet/RJ are for free courses in Administration, Electronics, Buildings, Mechanics, Electrotechnics, Telecommunications, and Occupational Safety.
At the Maria da Graça campus, Cefet/RJ is offering 30 openings for free courses in Renewable Energy and another 40 for the Occupational Safety course. As with Maracanã, half of the spots are reserved for eight types of quotas.

How to Enroll in the Free Courses at Cefet/RJ
To enroll, candidates must have an active email to register on the Candidate Portal and to retrieve the access password. It is important to highlight that the selection of candidates will not occur through assessments or academic history examinations but through a public lottery using the tool: System for Management of Competitions (SGC).
The preliminary result is expected to be published on July 22, starting at 5 PM, on the Cefet/RJ website. Before enrolling, it is recommended that the candidate read the notice carefully to stay informed about all the information provided by Cefet/RJ, regarding both the free courses and the selection process and enrollment.
Get to Know the Cefet/RJ Campuses
The Maracanã campus occupies an area of 34,382 m², where 11 blocks and six pavilions are divided. Additionally, there are about 72 classrooms, nine auditoriums, 166 laboratories and workshops, a library, a sports complex with courts, two video libraries, a gymnasium, an athletics track, and a swimming pool. The campus offers technical courses, subsequential programs, undergraduate degrees, specializations, master’s programs, and doctoral studies.
The Maria da Graça campus has 70 staff members, including education professionals and administrative technicians, and approximately 600 students in subsequential courses, technical courses, and undergraduate programs. It was the third campus inaugurated by the system in 2006.
