Cefet/RJ opens 350 vacancies in free courses at a technical level in the areas of Administration, Buildings, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechanics, Occupational Safety and Telecommunications

Are you looking for technical courses to “boost up” your resume? Then check out the 350 vacancies in free courses that Cefet/RJ is offering on the Maracanã and Maria da Graça campuses

Cefet/RJ published an announcement with 350 vacancies in free courses of technical level in the subsequent modality for secondary level, that is, for those who have already finished secondary education, on the Maracanã and Maria da Graça campus. Registration is completely free and can be done online until 15 pm next Monday (19th).

350 vacancies in free courses in RJ

The Maracanã campus is offering 280 places, 140 of which are based on the quota system. Cefet/RJ's opportunities are for free courses in Administration, Electronics, Buildings, Mechanics, Electrotechnics, Telecommunications and Occupational Safety.

On the Maria da Graça campus, Cefet/RJ is offering 30 places for free courses on renewable energies and another 40 for the Occupational Safety course. As in Maracanã, half of the chances are reserved for eight quotas.

How to enroll in free courses at Cefet/RJ

To register, the candidate must have an active e-mail to register in the Candidate Portal and to redeem the access password. It is worth mentioning that the selection of candidates will not be made through evaluations or examination of school records, but through a public lottery, using the tool: System of Management of Contests (SGC).

The scheduled date for the publication of the preliminary result will be on the 22nd of July, starting at 17 pm, on the Cefet/RJ website. Before applying, it is recommended that the candidate read the notice paying attention to stay on top of all the information given by Cefet/RJ, both about the free courses and about the selection and registration process.

Get to know the Cefet/RJ campuses

The Maracanã campus occupies an area of ​​34.382 m², divided into 11 blocks and six pavilions. In addition, there are approximately 72 classrooms, nine auditoriums, 166 laboratories and workshops, a library, a sports complex with courts, two video libraries, a gymnasium, an athletics track and a swimming pool. The campus offers technical, subsequent, undergraduate, specialization, master's and doctoral courses.

The Maria da Graça campus has 70 employees, including education professionals and administrative technicians and approximately 600 students in subsequent technical and undergraduate courses. It was the third campus opened by the system in 2006.
