The Last House on the Waterfront of Balneário Camboriú, Mansion Worth R$ 140 Million Bought by Luciano Hang Has 1,415 m², Sea View and Is Surrounded by Skyscrapers.

The scene looks straight out of a movie: in the midst of a wall of skyscrapers that makes up one of the most imposing skylines in the Americas, a single mansion stands firm by the sea, like a rare fragment of the past that has resisted the advance of concrete and glass. In Balneário Camboriú, a city known as the “Brazilian Dubai”, this exclusive residence, with 1,415 m² of built area, front access to the beach and an architecture that now contrasts with residential towers reaching over 80 floors, now has a new owner: businessman Luciano Hang, founder of Havan.

The property, purchased for R$ 140 million, is considered the last standing house on the beachfront of Avenida Atlântica, an address that has become a symbol of extreme luxury, accelerated verticalization and extraordinary real estate appreciation in Brazil. The negotiation, revealed by regional and national media in late October 2025, marked a milestone in the Brazilian real estate market, drawing attention for its value, location, and especially for the unique urban context surrounding the property.

The Mansion of Luciano Hang That Resisted Verticalization

While Balneário Camboriú was transforming into one of the most expensive square meters in the country, driven by developments featuring complete clubs, helipads, panoramic elevators, and 270-degree views of the Atlantic, this mansion remained as the last witness to a time when the city’s coastline was composed of houses and small constructions.

The luxury residence bought by Hang features:

  • 1,415 m² built
  • Exclusive beachfront land
  • Direct and permanent ocean view
  • Classic residential architecture contrasting with giant towers around
  • Spacious internal environments, pool and living area

The property is considered a symbol of the local elite from the 1980s and 1990s, when Balneário was just beginning to emerge as a tourist destination and investor. Today, it is a rare urban asset, practically impossible to reproduce in the same format: there are no more available plots like this in the region and it is unlikely there will be again.

Why the Property of the Owner of Havan Is Worth So Much

The appreciation of this mansion is not only in the construction but primarily in the territory it occupies. Over the past two decades, Balneário Camboriú has become one of the country’s most sophisticated hubs, with international investors, Brazilian celebrities, and large-scale entrepreneurs acquiring properties focused on both residence and investment.

The waterfront of the city is home to some of the tallest buildings in the Americas, such as the twin skyscrapers of FG Empreendimentos, and constantly breaks national records for the most valued square meter, easily surpassing R$ 40 thousand/m² in premium developments.

In this context, Hang’s mansion has ceased to be just a residence and has become one of the most coveted and media-highlighted real estate assets in Brazil.

Strategic Movements and Economic Symbolism

The purchase did not go unnoticed in the market. It occurs at a time of expansion for Balneário Camboriú as an international destination, driven by multibillion-dollar investments in:

  • luxury residential developments;
  • marina and nautical infrastructure;
  • premium gastronomic and hotel hubs;
  • urbanization and mobility projects;
  • strengthening of the nautical and tourism market.

For real estate analysts, this acquisition represents a strategic bet on the city’s continued standing as a national and Latin American reference in high-end tourism and quality of life. At the same time, it reinforces Hang’s positioning as a public figure associated with major economic movements, heritage, and entrepreneurship.

“The House Where History Stands Before the Giants”

The image of the mansion surrounded by towers of up to 80 floors went viral on social media. Internet users compared the scene to cities like Miami and Dubai, but with a cinematic touch: the last residential stronghold facing vertical modernity.

The property now becomes a fixed point in the imagination of those following the urban development of the country.

Experts highlight that, in addition to its financial and symbolic value, the property holds a historical and cultural importance, representing a period prior to the real estate boom in the region.

The Future: Preservation, Modernization, or Transformation?

With the acquisition, questions arise in the market and among residents: will the mansion be preserved as a symbol of a past that will not return, will it be renovated with new technologies and contemporary luxuries, or will it give way to a new development? So far, there has been no official statement from the businessman regarding plans for the property.

Regardless of its fate, the property enters the select list of iconic residences of Brazil, and its value is likely to remain a benchmark in the national real estate market for years.
