Dafra’s Premium Scooter Introduces Unprecedented Technology in the National Segment, Combining a Range of Over 360 km, a 399 cm³ Engine, Efficient Fuel Consumption, an Advanced Electronics Package, and Arrives on the Market with a Competitive Starting Price.

The Dafra Maxsym 400 GT, 2026 line, arrives in the Brazilian market with a premium proposition in the mid-displacement scooter segment, standing out for its range of over 360 kilometers with a 13-liter tank and the combination of unprecedented onboard technology in models under R$ 40,000.

The new model was officially presented in July 2025, with production scheduled to start in the same month and delivery to dealerships shortly after stock clearance.

The suggested launch price starts at R$ 39,990, a value that may vary depending on the region of the country.

399 cm³ Engine and Optimized Performance

The scooter is equipped with a 399 cm³ single-cylinder engine, delivering maximum power of 34 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and torque of 3.9 kgf·m at 5,250 rpm, always managed by the automatic CVT transmission, a technology that favors comfort and practicality in urban and highway environments.

This configuration guarantees sufficient performance to tackle highway routes without sacrificing the agility needed in large city traffic.

Efficient Fuel Consumption and Outstanding Range

With an official average consumption of 28 km/l in a mixed cycle, the Maxsym 400 GT presents a theoretical autonomy of up to 364 kilometers between fill-ups, a result of the balance between the engine’s efficiency and the 13-liter fuel tank.

These numbers give the model a competitive advantage for both daily riders and those facing long distances, reducing the need for frequent fuel stops.

Consumption data is validated by tests from the specialized press and represent one of the main attractions of the new scooter.

Unprecedented Onboard Technology in the Segment

The electronics package of the Dafra Maxsym 400 GT includes unprecedented features for the segment within its price range.

Highlighted items include the dual-channel ABS braking system, which operates on both wheels, and traction control (TCS), a technology aimed at increasing safety in low-traction situations.

Additionally, the instrument panel features a color LCD screen and provides the driver with complete information, including maintenance indicators, consumption, and speed.

The keyless entry system eliminates the need for a physical key to start the vehicle or open compartments, enhancing convenience and practicality in daily use.

European Design and Enhanced Ergonomics

In terms of design and ergonomics, Dafra drew inspiration from European maxiscooters, investing in more aggressive lines in the fairing and adopting full-LED lighting, both in the headlights and the tail light, as well as daytime running lights (DRL).

The adjustable windscreen was designed to ensure aerodynamic comfort at different speeds and usage profiles.

The seat, positioned 770 mm from the ground, facilitates access and control of the vehicle for riders of varying heights, while the compartment under the seat accommodates an integral helmet and other everyday items.

Suspension, Wheels, and Stability

The chassis of the model prioritizes stability and comfort, essential characteristics for long trips as well as urban routines.

The telescopic front suspension, combined with a dual rear shock absorber, provides efficient absorption of road irregularities.

The wheels, measuring 15 inches in the front and 14 inches in the rear, use wide tires that increase the contact area and ensure better grip in curves and sudden stops.

Technical Specifications and Standard Equipment

The detailed technical specifications of the Dafra Maxsym 400 GT 2026 also include dry weight of 196 kg, disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS, and three color options: Epoxy Gray and Matte Black, aimed at catering to different audience preferences.

Among the standard equipment, the USB charging port for electronic devices and the DRL lighting system, which increases the vehicle’s visibility at any time, stand out.

Market Comparison and Strategic Positioning

When considering the cost-benefit ratio, the Maxsym 400 GT draws attention not only for its starting price of R$ 39,990, but also for its offered technology package.

The model positions itself as a national alternative to imported rivals, such as BMW C 400 X and Yamaha XMAX 300, bringing similar equipment at a price range more accessible to the Brazilian consumer.

The set of items aimed at safety, technology, and comfort makes Dafra’s scooter one of the main options for those seeking versatility, economy, and performance in the mid-displacement segment.

Local Production and Market Expectations

Dafra’s strategy in launching the Maxsym 400 GT in the Brazilian market focuses on expanding its presence in a segment that is gaining more and more fans, especially among users looking for practicality, low maintenance costs, and a high level of onboard technology.

Local production, which began in July 2025, aims to meet growing demand and reduce logistical costs, making the model more competitive against its main competitors.

Another differentiator is the keyless entry system, a solution that replaces the physical key with a proximity sensor, simplifying the user’s routine by unlocking and starting the vehicle with just a touch.

The LCD panel, in turn, features modern graphics and easy reading, allowing quick monitoring of main functions and maintenance alerts.

Target Audience and Versatility of Dafra’s Premium Scooter

The Dafra Maxsym 400 GT 2026 is aimed at both experienced motorcyclists who value highway performance and new users looking for comfort, technology, and economy for urban use.

The model’s versatility meets different profiles, reinforcing the brand’s proposal to democratize access to advanced solutions in urban mobility.

High Autonomy and Technology: A New Standard

Given this set of attributes, Dafra’s new premium scooter presents itself as a relevant alternative for those looking to combine fuel efficiency, consistent performance, modern design, and unprecedented technological features in the segment below R$ 40,000.

With autonomy exceeding 360 km per tank, ABS brakes, traction control, and a color LCD panel, the model aims to establish a new standard among national scooters.

Do you believe that the arrival of the Maxsym 400 GT, with this technological package and high autonomy, can influence the behavior of other manufacturers in the mid-displacement scooter segment in Brazil?
