Banco do Brasil Contest
In October 2019, Minister Marco Aurélio of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) upheld the decision of the Regional Labor Court of the 10th Region (TRT-10) on the need for a new Bank of Brazil contest for higher-level positions. Which means that the selection for BB could come out in 2020.
In the decision, Minister Marco Aurélio denied Complaint 32298 in which the bank requested the annulment of the TRT-10 decision. It is important to explain that the TRT's decision was made through a Public Action filed by the Ministry of Labour (MPT) which denounced the diversion of functions from mid-level clerks to higher-level functions.
In this way, the court determined that BB should plan a new selection with the aim of appointing personnel to carry out higher-level functions.
