How to Participate in the Firefighters Exam in 2024?
Those interested in participating in the Firefighters public exam in Paraíba have the opportunity to register until October 25, through the official website of the Firefighters Corps.
However, it is important to note that, in addition to registering for the exam, candidates must also be registered for the National High School Exam (Enem) of 2024, which will be used as part of the selection process.
The registration fee for the Firefighters public exam is R$ 120, due by October 28. However, some specific groups can request an exemption from this fee, including blood donors, bone marrow donors, breast milk donors, organ donors, and registered transplant recipients in CadÚnico.
It is worth noting that, during the Officer Training Course (CFO), cadets will receive the following amounts:
- 1st year: R$3,003.48 (salary of 3rd sergeant, food allowance and performance grant);
- 2nd year: R$3,300.74 (salary of 2nd sergeant, food allowance and performance grant);
- 3rd year: R$3,660.87 (salary of 1st sergeant, food allowance and performance grant).
After completing the CFO, aspiring officers of the Firefighters public exam will receive a salary of R$ 6,771.08, which includes salary, qualification grant, food allowance, and performance grant.
Finally, upon reaching the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, officers will have a monthly remuneration of R$ 8,639.32, consisting of salary, qualification grant, food allowance, and performance grant. In addition, approved candidates may also be entitled to operational cost assistance, which can reach R$ 3,711.36 in the third year of the CFO. There will also be specific bonuses arising from the performance of their duties.
Steps of the Public Exam
The Firefighters public exam will be divided into two main stages: the intellectual exam, represented by the Enem, and the complementary examinations, which include health, physical fitness, and psychological evaluations.
After the Enem phase, those who pass and are classified within ten times the number of vacancies offered will be called for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
Once approved in the health examinations, candidates will undergo a series of physical fitness tests designed to assess their ability to meet the physical demands of the profession.
