Before starting construction, it is essential to properly prepare the land, usually with the installation of footings. Although Container Express does not offer this service, Gariani emphasizes that clients are guided on the correct execution method, with estimated costs between R$ 2,000.00 and R$ 3,000.00.

Costs and Logistics of Container Homes in Construction

The costs of container homes in construction mainly vary with the size of the structure. A 20-foot container (approximately 6 meters) costs on average R$ 46,000.00, while a 40-foot container (around 12 meters) can reach R$ 84,000.00. These amounts include all necessary finishes to transform the container into a livable home.

The logistics of delivery is also a crucial aspect of the process. The transportation of the containers is carried out by trucks and cranes, with an estimated cost of R$ 15.00 per kilometer traveled from the factory, located in São Vicente.
