The Ministry of Education (MEC) announced the opening of applications for the free school leadership course, fully online (EAD) aimed at professionals in the educational field. The program is ideal for administrators, coordinators, counselors, superintendents, directors, teachers, and managers seeking to enhance their leadership and school management skills.
Comprehensive Training
Adapted by the British Council to meet the needs of the Brazilian educational landscape, the free course offers comprehensive training in educational leadership, based on best practices adopted in British schools. Divided into 11 modules, the program covers aspects such as team management, effective leadership, and coaching techniques, along with essential themes to strengthen school organization in the national context.
Since the promulgation of the National Education Guidelines and Framework Law (LDBE) No. 9,394, school management in Brazil has emphasized training in leadership principles. Aligned with this transformation, the course helps participants develop skills to create collaborative teams, manage changes, and promote actions that enhance teaching and learning.

Structure and Content
With a workload of 90 hours, the course can be completed in a minimum of 45 days and a maximum of 360 days. During the program, students will explore topics such as:
