The free course “Training in Monitoring and Evaluation for Social Control in SUS,” developed by the National Health Council (CNS) in partnership with Fiocruz and UFMT, is open for registration. Aimed at councilors and workers in the Unified Health System (SUS), the training offers theoretical and practical tools for effectively monitoring and evaluating public health policies.
The initiative, conceived during the 16th National Health Conference, seeks to strengthen social control by empowering participants to act in supervising decisions and actions planned in SUS. With an expected start in March, the free course will be offered through the Fiocruz Virtual Campus, allowing facilitated access for all interested.

With this training, the CNS expects health councilors at all levels – municipal, state, and national – to be able to act more actively and based on informed decisions, ensuring that the resolutions from health conferences are effectively applied and monitored.
