Duplication of 90 Km and Package of R$ 4.3 Billion Bring Standard of the Best Roads in the Country to the Paulista Coast by 2030.
The Paulista Coast Lot will duplicate 90 km of highways, equivalent to 42% of the network under concession. The package includes access roads, bike paths, walkways, and pavement recovery.
The works will continue until 2030, structured to reduce traffic impacts and provide more comfort during the interventions.
Recognized Quality
According to the CNT Highway Survey 2024, São Paulo has nine of the ten best roads in the country.

In just 5,660 kilometers of pipes crossing 13 countries, Africa is building the largest pipeline in its history — and the final destination is Europe.
Eight of them are under state concession. This standard will now reach the South Coast, Vale do Ribeira, and Alto Tietê, enhancing safety, fluidity, and regional development.
Expected Benefits
With the R$ 4.3 billion budgeted, the works will improve safety and stimulate tourism.
Another effect is the creation of logistical alternatives to transport part of the national GDP through the Port of Santos. The result will be job and income generation in the coastal cities.
Logistical Ring
The Secretary of Partnerships in Investments for the State, Rafael Benini, highlights the integration. “The concession of the Paulista Coast, along with the Sorocabana Route, allows for the formation of a logistical ring. The duplication between Miracatu and Peruíbe, access roads from Peruíbe to Praia Grande, and the duplication of the Bertioga–Santos stretch help ease the Anchieta–Imigrantes system,” he said. This expands access to the Port of Santos and improves state logistics.
Emergency Works
While the major projects progress, R$ 234 million is already being used for emergency improvements.
The list includes recovery of 212 km of pavement, signage, lighting, drainage, and retaining walls. These actions aim to enhance immediate safety and comfort for drivers.
24-Hour Service
Users also have an operational structure active every day. The service includes pre-hospital care with mobile ICUs, vehicle removal, roadside inspection, fire fighting, and eight User Assistance Posts.
Electronic Toll
The Siga Fácil replaces toll booths with intelligent portals. The driver only pays for the distance traveled, with more speed and fairer pricing.
The system supervised by Artesp eliminates queues and reduces accidents.
The implementation will be gradual in the most recent concessions, such as the New Paulista Coast, Nova Raposo, and Sorocabana Route. The website sigafacil.sp.gov.br gathers information about portals, payments, and assistance channels.
