Starlink promotion drastically reduces the entry cost of satellite internet in Brazil and expands the competition for residential customers in urban and remote areas. Offer includes two Mini kits with free shipping, discounts on monthly fees, and special conditions for families and different properties.
Starlink has launched a new promotional campaign in Brazil offering two Starlink Mini kits for R$ 499 under the Family Residential plan, including free standard shipping and a 15% discount on residential monthly fees starting from the second month of use.
Available on the operator’s official website, the offer is targeted at consumers who need to maintain satellite internet in two different properties, such as a primary residence and a support house, as well as families who wish to share the connection in separate locations.
According to the conditions disclosed by the company, the two pieces of equipment cost R$ 499 in total, although the regular price stated for the set is R$ 2,000, a difference that reduces the initial investment required to purchase the kits by R$ 1,501.

Starlink launches Family package with two Mini kits in Brazil
Within the Family Residential package, the subscriber needs to contract two residential plans to receive the two Mini kits, while the combined monthly fee, initially set at R$ 472, drops to R$ 401.20 after applying the promotional discount offered by the operator.
According to the campaign rules, the first month of service is charged after activation or seven days after the delivery of the equipment, whichever event occurs first, while payment for the kits is made in full at the time of contracting.
Although the equipment is part of the same offer, Starlink informs that the kits are shipped separately, with free standard shipping and an estimated delivery time of between one and two weeks, depending on the region indicated by the consumer at the time of purchase.
In addition to the commercial conditions, the company maintains the possibility of returning the equipment within 30 days provided they are undamaged, repeating a policy already used by the operator in previous campaigns aimed at the Brazilian residential market.
Rules to maintain the satellite internet discount
To maintain the promotional prices of the Family package, Starlink requires that the two kits remain active in the Residential service for a minimum period of 12 months, with no possibility of pausing any of the plans linked to the offer.
At the same time, the operator stipulates that the equipment acquired in this modality cannot be transferred to another account during the entire duration of the promotion, preserving the link between the two kits and the same contracting registration.
Another limitation outlined in the rules prevents the promotion from being used more than once per account, preventing the same subscriber from acquiring successive pairs of equipment with the same discounts applied to the promotional package.
More than just reducing the initial price of the hardware, the campaign depends on the simultaneous maintenance of the two active residential plans, a condition considered essential by the company to guarantee the discounts offered on the monthly fees and equipment.
Residential Max Plan also receives a price reduction
Alongside the Family package, the company also reduced the price of the Mini kit for customers interested in the Residential Max plan, a modality in which the equipment is now sold for R$ 499, below the regular value of R$ 1,199 disclosed by the operator.
In this plan, the announced monthly fee is R$ 235.52, while the speed informed by the company can exceed 400 Mbps, positioning the service as one of the highest-performing residential options within Starlink’s commercial structure in the country.
In addition to the main discount, the operator states that the subscriber can add a Travel plan with a 50% price reduction, as well as the possibility of reserving a free Mini Kit for travel after the completion of the contract.
Even so, the company highlights that availability, prices, and commercial conditions may vary depending on the region served, which is why address confirmation remains mandatory before completing the subscription on the official website.
Starlink expands competition for residential internet in the country
With the new price reduction, Starlink intensifies the competition for the Brazilian residential internet market, especially in regions where fiber optic, cable, or mobile networks still present coverage and stability limitations for part of the population.
Linked to SpaceX, the company operates a low-orbit satellite internet structure capable of serving remote areas, rural properties, and isolated locations, a scenario that has helped expand the operator’s presence in different Brazilian regions.
In recent years, the company has started investing in frequent cuts in equipment prices to reduce the entry barrier for new customers, as the initial cost of the kit often directly influences the decision to contract the service.
By offering two devices at a reduced price, the operator tries to attract consumers who need to connect more than one property without bearing the full cost of the devices, as well as reaching families who share connectivity expenses at different addresses.
Offer depends on availability at each address
The promotion must be contracted directly on the official Starlink website in Brazil, where the consumer needs to provide the installation address to verify availability, final prices, and valid commercial conditions for the chosen region.
As the campaign mentions selected areas, including reference to the Legal Amazon, confirmation at the time of purchase becomes necessary to identify if the promotional package appears available for the address provided during registration.
Even with the significant reduction in the price of the equipment, the subscriber remains responsible for the recurring payment of the monthly fees for the two residential plans, as the promotional discount only reduces part of the initial cost of the contract.
Additionally, Starlink maintains specific rules related to the use, activation, return, and minimum duration of the equipment, factors that should be analyzed mainly by consumers interested in using the connection in two different properties.
