Goiás Technological Colleges (COTEC) Announced More Than 18,000 Places for Free Qualification and Training Courses for Those Who Have Completed Elementary School
Present in 17 cities in the state of Goiás, the Technological Colleges cover the most diverse areas of knowledge, which tend to develop with the availability of places for the free courses included in the context of the region. Classes, taught in person or online, will last from 40 to 240 hours and will issue certificates.
Among the free courses offered by the Goiás Technological Colleges, for training and qualification, some highlighted spots are:
- Occupational safety in industries;
- Health and safety at work;
- Basic computer science;
- Pharmacy assistant;
- Doorman;
- Electrician – Basic notions;
- Family farming and agroecology;
- Cashier;
- Techniques for selling rural products;
- Building electrical maintenance assistant;
- Safety in electrical installations and services – NR10;
- Horticulture;
- Production and agroecological management of plants;
- Industrial sewing;
- Environmental management;
- Sales manager;
- Receptionist in health services;
- Team leadership;
- Pedagogical assistant;
- Planning and quality control in production
How to Register for a Free Course at COTEC Goiás
The requirements to register for any of the spots are to be at least 16 years old and have completed elementary school. The free courses are available for residents of the following cities: Anápolis, Caiapônia, Catalão, Ceres, Cidade de Goiás, Cristalina, Formosa, Goianésia, Goiânia, Goiatuba, Jaraguá, Palmeiras de Goiás, Piranhas, Porangatu, Santa Helena de Goiás, and Uruana, all in the state of Goiás.
Registration for free qualification courses runs until January 27; while for training spots, the deadline extends to March 29.
