Minas Gerais Assumes Leadership In Distributed Generation
The estimate is that by the end of the second semester of this year, all cities in Minas Gerais will have access to the services of the company, which specializes in distributed solar energy generation.
The service will initially be aimed at low-voltage commercial customers, but will also be offered to residences later this year. Minas Gerais was selected to start operations due to several factors, such as climate conditions, high solar power generation potential, suitable legislation, the possibility of providing competitive offers to consumers, and a receptive market.

Investment In Solar Plants Could Reach R$ 1 Billion In Three Years
In addition to the investment in Minas Gerais, which could reach R$ 1 billion in three years, the energy company expects to generate 150 jobs by the end of this year and more than 1,000 in 2022.
The southern region of the state was strategically chosen for building solar plants because it has an excellent solar radiation index, with mild temperatures contributing to the performance of electromechanical equipment and photovoltaic panel generation. The good quality of network infrastructure also reinforced the choice.
Operations Director Of AXS Speaks Out
According to Alysson Barros Paolinelli, Operations Director of AXS Energy, the company’s plan is for each region receiving AXS’s solar plants to have a kind of “green seal.”
The executive adds that the state has excellent technicians and engineers, increasing the capacity to attract new bright minds to the company. According to him, it is a mutually beneficial partnership, where cities receive sustainable investment and enjoy the benefits of job and income generation.
The company will be able to utilize the qualified workforce from the state to develop the business, and according to the director, merchants and all citizens will benefit from the clean and affordable energy generated by the solar plants.
