Teams from SP and RJ Shine in Online Robotics Tournament of Liga CoderZ, Highlighting a Teacher from Roraima.
Brazil Wins World Title! Teams from the Social Service of Industry (SESI) in Limeira (SP) and Rio de Janeiro (RJ) achieved an unprecedented feat for Brazil. Straight from the lab, with just one computer – and a lot of expertise -, they became world champions in the Junior and Pro categories of Liga CoderZ. The virtual robotics tournament, broadcast from Israel, brought together students from over 100 countries.
The online robotics championship, broadcast from Israel, gathered students from over 100 countries in an exciting competition for victory. The Brazilian team from the Social Service of Industry (SESI) demonstrated great ability and determination to achieve the coveted title.
Robotics Championship Boosts Collaborative Thinking
The SESI robotics championship has proven to be an excellent tool for industrial development and learning applied programming. The competition takes place online, in teams, and promotes critical and creative thinking, as well as stimulating the development of computational thinking.
-
With 100 discarded pallets and simple tools, the project creates a 23 m² shelter, recycles wood used in the transport of humanitarian aid, and transforms temporary housing for refugees.
-
Scotland creates a brick made with over 95% recycled debris, eliminates kiln firing, and attempts to reinvent a piece used in construction for almost a thousand years.
-
In Taipei, 1.5 million recycled plastic bottles were saved from becoming waste, turned into building blocks, and formed a nine-story pavilion for an international exhibition.
-
Slums in India painted roofs white to cope with 46°C heat, cool down stuffy homes, improve sleep, reduce energy consumption, and even ease the burden on refrigerators.
With the participation of various schools from all over Brazil, Liga CoderZ provides an exciting competition, encouraging students to explore problem-solving, time management, and the formulation of collaborative strategies. This playful approach has enriched students’ learning, giving them the opportunity to stand out in a healthy competitive environment.
SESI Robotics Championship Promotes Industrial Development
The SESI robotics competition has been a robot simulation tool and a conducive environment for teaching applied programming. Students have the opportunity to explore critical and creative thinking, as well as learn two programming languages, in blocks and Python.
Additionally, the competition takes place in teams, which challenges students to handle time management and the formulation of strategies collaboratively. This makes the competition more dynamic and enriches the learning of the participants.
CoderZ Robotics Championship: An Opportunity for Development
The SESI robotics championship is a chance for students to enhance their programming and robotics skills. During the competition, students have the opportunity to develop critical and creative thinking, as well as learn to manage time and formulate collaborative strategies.
The competition has been an excellent opportunity for students from elementary and high school to engage in a challenging and stimulating learning environment. The competition takes place online, which expands the reach of Liga CoderZ and allows more students to participate and stand out.
