Fiat Strada Takes First Place in 2024, With Sales Growth and Widespread Preference Among Brazilians
The Fiat Strada was the most sold vehicle in Brazil in 2024. The compact pickup sold nearly 145,000 units throughout the year, consolidating its leadership. In December alone, the Strada registered 16,235 units sold, reinforcing its strong performance in the national market.
Compared to 2023, the model saw significant growth. In the previous year, 120,000 units were sold. Thus, in 2024, there was an increase of about 25,000 cars. In addition, Fiat ended the year with a market share of 20.98% among automobiles and light commercial vehicles.
Highlights of the Fiat Strada
The best-selling Fiat Strada is currently offered in seven variants. Its starting price is R$ 105,990 for the Endurance single cab version. This configuration features a 1.3-liter engine with 107 horsepower.

Among the standard equipment of the entry version are air conditioning, power steering, dual airbags, tachometer, stability and traction control, ladder carrier, among other important items for daily use.
The more expensive Ultra and Ranch versions come equipped with a double cab and a turbo 1.0-liter engine producing 130 horsepower. The CVT automatic transmission with 7 gears provides more comfort in driving.
These versions come with a range of technological and convenience features. Among them, a 7-inch multimedia system, induction charger, rearview camera, multifunction steering wheel, Hill Holder, heated rear window, and integrated roll bar.
Additionally, the Strada features automatic digital air conditioning, paddle shifters, ABS brakes with EBD, onboard computer, remote key, and longitudinal roof bars.
Volkswagen Polo Leads Among Passenger Cars
In second place in the overall market was the Volkswagen Polo, with just over 140,000 units sold. While it was the best-selling passenger car, it did not surpass the Fiat pickup in total sales for the year.
The Polo took on the mission of replacing the Gol in the market and managed to lead among passenger models.
Ranking of Best-Selling Vehicles in 2024
The Top 5 consisted of Fiat Strada (144,684 units), Volkswagen Polo (140,177), Chevrolet Onix (97,503), Hyundai HB20 (97,079), and Fiat Argo (91,139).
The year also recorded good numbers for SUVs such as the Volkswagen T-Cross (83,990 units) and the Chevrolet Tracker (69,431).
With this performance, the Fiat Strada reaffirms its position as the preferred car of Brazilians in 2024.
