Without mortar, grout, or traditional construction: the ClickBrick system assembles brick facades with ceramic pieces held by metal clips, eliminating the need for glue, speeding up installation, and even allowing everything to be dismantled later without turning the construction into expensive permanent debris.
Nova Mutum and Juína Are Among the Airports with Significant Improvement Works
Among the most recent actions is the opening of a bidding process for the installation of visual aid equipment at Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes Airport in Nova Mutum, with an expected budget of R$ 2 million.
The facility had previously received an investment of R$ 4.9 million for runway resurfacing and new horizontal signage.
In Juína, a complete recovery of the runway asphalt and the implementation of new signage are planned, with an investment of R$ 5.6 million. The proposal is to ensure greater safety in operations and increase the terminal’s service capacity.
Nelson Dantas Airport in the municipality of Cáceres has already undergone major renovations. The runway has been fully restored, and a new passenger terminal has been constructed.
Additionally, navigation aid systems have been installed, allowing for nighttime operations. In total, the investment in this facility reached R$ 13 million.
Ongoing Works and Improvements Already Completed
Other airports are also undergoing works, such as those located in Campo Verde, Colniza, Diamantino, and Poconé, where runway paving is being carried out.
In municipalities like Brasnorte, Canarana, Confresa, Juara, Matupá, Nova Xavantina, São Félix do Araguaia, Vila Rica, and Querência, the works have already been completed, focusing on modernizing and improving airport infrastructure.
Airports located in Água Boa, Porto Alegre do Norte, and Sorriso have also received structural interventions to improve operational and safety conditions.
In addition to investments in ongoing works, the Government of Mato Grosso, through the State Department of Infrastructure and Logistics (Sinfra-MT), has also been establishing technical cooperation agreements with municipal governments.
The goal is to enable the development of projects and identify new areas for constructing airports, creating a solid foundation for the future expansion of the air transportation network.
The Goal Is to Strengthen Economy, Tourism, and Emergency Response
The Secretary of Infrastructure, Marcelo de Oliveira, emphasizes the strategic importance of the investments:
“This investment in airports and aerodromes is strategic for the logistics of Mato Grosso. We are a state larger than many countries, so having good airports stimulates tourism, strengthens the economy, and facilitates operations in emergencies,” he stated.
With actions involving both the execution of works and long-term planning, the Government of Mato Grosso is advancing in the construction of a more modern, efficient airport infrastructure, prepared to meet present and future demands.
