The workload varies from 200 to 260 hours, depending on the chosen course. The course is an opportunity for those who want to work at BYD in areas such as vehicle production operator, production line assistant, industrial maintenance mechanic, and quality inspector.

Unemployed workers registered at Sine agencies and beneficiaries of public policies for work and income can apply. The selected candidates will receive uniforms, educational materials, transportation, and snacks during the course.

Enrollment for the courses in Bahia to work at BYD started this Wednesday (27) and can be done through the digital channels of the Secretary of Labor, Employment, Income and Sports (Setre) and the National Employment System (SineBahia).

BYD, a global giant in electrified vehicles and clean energy, is about to inaugurate nine photovoltaic solar plants in partnership with Raízen Gera Desenvolvedora, a joint venture between Raízen and the Gera Group. The plants, located in the states of Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, and Pará, will start generating energy as early as May, significantly contributing to the country’s sustainable energy matrix, according to the magazine Oe.
