The Qualifica Mais-Emprega Mais Program from the Federal Government Opens Over 6,000 Slots for Free Online Courses in Technology
The Federal Government, along with the Ministry of Education and Economy, launched a pilot project for online improvement called the “Qualifica Mais-Emprega Mais” program, which aims to allow young people and adults to enhance their skills to receive professional training to grow and find jobs in the region. As a result, 6,069 slots were made available for free online courses in technology.
Who Can Register and the Locations of the Federal Government Courses
Youth workers up to 29 years old can apply, primarily. Registration is valid until April 11, and the institution will send the candidate a confirmation of enrollment. The courses are scheduled to start on May 10 and will last a total of 6 months.
The classification of students is based on their place of residence, with the necessity of residing in the following locations: Salvador, Fortaleza, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Recife, Florianópolis, Joinville, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, São Paulo, and Campinas.

Take a technical course at the Federal Institute: there are over 950 open spots in free technical courses in Logistics, Mechanics, Baking, Building Construction, and Renewable Energy Systems at IFPI.

The state of Paraná offers 3,500 free technical course slots in 2026 and begins a new phase of professional training with enrollment open until June 30, strengthening workforce development in sectors that drive the regional economy.
Here is the schedule for registered participants:
- Registration period and completion of the track – from March 9 to April 11;
- Results and sending emails to selected candidates – from April 15;
- Pre-enrollment and confirmation – from April 15;
- Start of classes – from May 10.
