The return was confirmed by entrepreneur Luciano Hang, known as Véio da Havan, who announced the agreement for the 2026 season of Série A.
Partnership Resumed After A Victorious Period
Between 2017 and 2022, Havan and Athletico maintained a strategic relationship, during which the club won titles and expanded its national and international projection.
According to Luciano Hang, the return aims to recover the positive cycle experienced by both parties during the six years of previous partnership.
“It’s a great joy to be back at Athletico,” stated the entrepreneur in a declaration published on the club’s official website.
The entrepreneur also emphasized that, for Havan, sponsoring represents believing in projects with sports and institutional potential.
Marketing Strategy Explains Havan’s Return
According to Lucas Hang, the company’s new business manager, the decision is linked to a strategic reformulation initiated at the end of 2022.
During that period, Havan reduced investments in football, repositioning its marketing actions and prioritizing other segments of institutional communication.
With the new phase, the company decided to resume investments in sports, leveraging an already consolidated relationship with Athletico.
According to Lucas Hang, the lasting and successful partnership was decisive for the club to be chosen in this strategy’s return.
Club Is In A Phase Of Sports Reconstruction
The new agreement comes at a symbolic phase for Athletico, which underwent restructuring after being relegated to Série B in 2024.
In 2025, the club reacted in sports, regaining access to Série A as the runner-up in the national second division.
Now, the management is working to stabilize the team in the elite and recover the sports prominence of recent years.

The club’s Commercial and Institutional Relations Director, Mauro Holzmann, celebrated the resumption of the partnership with the retailer.
