Free Online Courses in EAD Mode Offered by IFSM Are Destined Especially for Women Who Are or Have Recently Left Situations of Social Vulnerability and Risk
About 8,000 vacancies for free online courses in Distance Education (EAD) have been made available especially to women by the Federal Institute of Southern MINAS, IFSM. Enrollments have been open since September 1st. The opportunities being offered by IFSM are provided through the New Paths program.

The New Paths project, together with IFSM, considered it very important to encourage the training of women who are or have recently left situations of social vulnerability and high risk, that is, women who are trying to get back on their feet, mainly financially.
Offering these women free EAD courses, enabling them to train without needing to leave home, gives them more time to prepare and decide what they will do next. The available vacancies for enrollment in the free online EAD courses are open to everyone but prioritized for residents of the South of Minas region.

Free Online Courses Offered by IFSM
The main aim of IFSM in opening vacancies for free online courses in EAD mode is to provide training in certain areas so that they can choose where they best fit in the job market.

Prerequisites and Schedules for Each of the Free Courses Offered
All free courses offered will be in EAD mode, with various weekly activities and a total workload of 160 hours. Classes will start this month of September, on the 15th, and are expected to conclude on December 15th.
Each course specifies that there is a minimum age requirement for the student, ranging from 16 to 18 years, in addition to having an educational level, such as completed or incomplete elementary education. It is worth noting that each interested woman may only enroll in one course.
Register for Free EAD Courses and Study at IFSM
Registrations must be made by September 10th, through the IFSM website. In addition to being able to register via the campus website, it is also possible to go to the Social Assistance Reference Centers, CRAS, to ask for assistance from the teams working at the centers.
Interested women should go to the CRAS in the cities where there are IFSM campuses, such as Muzambinho, Passos, Poços de Caldas, Pouso Alegre, Machado, Três Corações, and Carmo de Minas.
