“Our intention is to seek, together with these companies, the agile development of solutions to overcome challenges, creating value for our business and, consequently, for the oil and gas sector. We are looking for creative answers,” says the program coordinator, Ricardo Ramos, from Cenpes, Petrobras’s research and innovation center. According to Ramos, the ability to be bold is crucial for the success of the projects.”
According to the call for proposals, submissions can be made in the following areas: digital technologies, robotics, energy efficiency, catalysts, corrosion, carbon reduction, geological modeling, inspection technologies, and water treatment. Each proposal may receive funding of up to R$ 500,000, potentially reaching R$ 1 million, depending on the added value to Petrobras’s business.
Participants will have support from Petrobras and Sebrae, during and after the selection process, to ensure their solutions are implemented and generate value in the short term.
For successfully completed projects, Petrobras will seek to enable the continuation of development through implementation and field tests, via a pilot batch or pioneering service. For Sebrae, the partnership plays a strategic role in achieving better results.
“Sebrae will be supporting the selected micro and small companies in the calls with business consulting services complementary to the innovation projects from the outset, facilitating the effective entry of the innovative solution into the market and increasing its competitiveness,” explains Bruno Quick, the institution’s technical director.
Registrations for Petrobras and Sebrae Startups Call
Representatives of startups and small technology-based companies from across the country have until this Sunday (06/28) to register for the Petrobras Connections for Innovation program call.
To address the questions of interested parties, the Connections for Innovation Week was held at the beginning of the month. Through daily live sessions, Petrobras specialists addressed questions about the 54 proposed innovation challenges. The videos can be accessed on the call’s website.
