Opportunity For Those Seeking Free And Recognized Technical Qualification. IF Sudeste MG’s Announcement Offers Vacancies In Ten Cities And Selection By Draw, With Registrations Open Until October 2025.

IF Sudeste MG has opened registrations for free technical courses starting in the first semester of 2026.

The process, valid for the concurrent/subsequent and subsequent modalities, runs from September 17 to October 17, 2025 and adopts public draw as the method of classification, without examination.

The fee is R$ 20, and there is exemption for those who request it by October 1.

The vacancies are distributed across ten cities: Barbacena, Bom Sucesso, Cataguases, Juiz de Fora, Manhuaçu, Muriaé, Rio Pomba, Santos Dumont, São João del-Rei, and Ubá.

Who Can Participate

Students who will be in the 2nd or 3rd year of high school in 2026 at another institution can apply in the concurrent/subsequent modality.

The subsequent modality is intended for those who have already completed high school.

The quota system follows federal legislation and includes broad competition, public school by income, people with disabilities, blacks, browns, and indigenous persons, as well as specific groups such as quilombolas and Pronaf.

Selection By Draw And Timetable

Instead of exams, the selection will occur by draw on December 17, 2025, with live broadcast on the official IF Sudeste MG YouTube channel.

The results will be announced on the institutional website, according to the announcement timetable.

The announcement also details deadlines for appeals and enrollment steps, with the announcement of enrollment expected after the final results are published.

Modalities, Shifts And Workload

The offerings are divided between afternoon and evening in the in-person units, in addition to EAD.

In distance courses, the announcement provides for periodic in-person meetings and an in-person workload of 20%, according to each course’s pedagogical project.

The workloads range from 1 to 2 years, depending on the chosen program.

In Real Estate Transactions, there is a minimum age requirement of 18 years for admission.

Fee, Exemption, And Payment Methods

The registration fee is R$ 20, and the registration approval depends on payment confirmation by the specified deadline.

The announcement allows payment by PIX, GRU (Banco do Brasil), or credit card, with a 3% additional fee for transactions via card.

Candidates who meet the exemption legislation must request it through the Candidate Portal within the specified period.

The provisional results of exemption requests, deadlines for appeals, and the announcement of the final results are included in the official timetable.

Competition Criteria And Affirmative Actions

The distribution of vacancies considers broad competition and quota reserves, with income verification through CadÚnico when applicable, identity verification board for self-declared blacks and browns, and document validation for indigenous persons, quilombolas, Pronaf, and people with disabilities.

The verifications occur during the enrollment stage, according to the rules of the announcement.
