With revenue exceeding R$ 350 million in 2023, Krominox projects an even more optimistic scenario for this year. The company, a national leader in the production of stainless steel tubes and solutions, expects strong growth in 2024, driven by the basic sanitation, oil and gas, and refrigeration sectors.

Accompanying Brazil’s economic performance and the positive outlook for GDP in 2024, Krominox foresees a positive scenario. Furthermore, the company recorded a record revenue last year, contributing to its optimistic projections for the next 12 months.

Basic Sanitation and the New Legal Framework

According to Marcos Barbosa, CEO of Grupo Krominox, the basic sanitation segment, which was part of the company’s expansion plan last year with the acquisition of Master Hidráulica, is expected to drive revenue in 2024, exceeding R$ 15 million. This projection aligns with the high demand for compliance with the new Legal Framework for Basic Sanitation in the country.

Growing Demands in Oil and Gas

To meet the demands of the oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical sectors, Krominox is investing in KGS – Krominox Global Solutions – to offer fully imported products. This allows for a quick and efficient response to the specific needs of these expanding sectors.

“KGS is already providing solutions for the modulation of different Petrobras platforms and contributing to new projects for floating production, storage, and offloading units (FPSOs),” adds Barbosa.

Among the solutions offered by KGS are profiles, tubes, and stainless steel fittings composed of special alloys such as super duplex, duplex, high nickel alloys, and copper and nickel alloys.

Cold Chain and the Demand for Compressors

In the refrigeration segment, Krominox is banking on SH Refrigeração, a group company specializing in the manufacturing of copper capillary tubes. With a recent partnership with the Chinese compressor manufacturer Donper, SH Refrigeração already estimates that it will triple its revenue in 2024.

“SH Refrigeração is recognized for the quality and efficiency of the solutions it presents to this segment. In addition, we have high demand for the compressors manufactured by Donper, essential components for industrial and commercial refrigeration systems,” concludes the Krominox executive.
