The Brazilian Navy is open for registrations for the Volunteer Military Service (VMS), offering nearly 400 positions for the roles of Rating and Sailor, without the need for a public exam. Candidates for the position of sailor in the Navy must have completed elementary and technical high school to participate in the selection without an exam, in addition to meeting the specific requirements detailed in the Navy’s Call Notices. The necessary documentation to prove the requirements and qualifications must also be carefully observed by the candidates.

The vacancies in the selection without an exam are distributed across various areas of interest of the Navy, covering the entire national territory. The salaries offered for the sailor selection vary according to the position, reaching up to R$ 2,704.90 for specialized sailors and R$ 3,576.21 for ratings. It is important to emphasize that these amounts are gross and represent an average provided by the Brazilian Navy, based on the salaries of active military sailors.
