With Flex Engine, Economic Consumption, and Low Maintenance, the Yamaha Factor 150 Stands Out as the Best-Selling Motorcycle of the Brand in Brazil in 2025, Combining Versatility, Comfort, and Competitive Price in the Entry-Level Segment.
The Yamaha Factor 150, the brand’s entry-level motorcycle in the country, combines BlueFlex engine, consumption that can reach 50 km/l, and a service plan starting at R$ 162, factors that place it among the most rational choices in the urban segment.
From January to July 2025, there were over 37 thousand licensed units, according to reports cited by Fenabrave, keeping the model as the best-selling Yamaha in Brazil during this period.
Furthermore, the 2025 line expanded its offering with two configurations, Standard and DX.

It seems crazy, but mechanics are pouring concrete inside purpose-built engine blocks, and the reason will change everything you thought you knew about high-performance engine preparation.
Flex Engine and Urban Performance
The mechanical assembly follows the well-known formula. A single-cylinder 149 cm³ engine with electronic injection and BlueFlex technology, capable of running on gasoline or ethanol.
The declared output is 12 hp with ethanol (11.8 hp with gasoline) and 1.3 kgf.m of torque at 6,000 rpm, figures suitable for daily use in urban traffic.
The five-speed transmission ensures simple and precise shifts, without surprises.

Consumption, Tank, and Range
When it comes to pocket, the Factor 150 stands out.
In economical driving, the consumption can reach 50 km/l, and, combined with a 15.4-liter tank, the range exceeds 600 km effortlessly when the usage is primarily urban and gentle.
For those who work all day on the motorcycle, this combination reduces stops and cost per kilometer traveled.
Ergonomics and Riding Comfort
With a declared weight of 133 kg, the Factor 150 is light and conveys ease of maneuvering. The seat height of 785 mm favors riders of different heights.
On the irregularities of the asphalt, the assembly with a telescopic fork in the front and two shock absorbers in the rear prioritizes comfort and robustness, within its intended use.
Brakes and Digital Panel
Active safety comes from the combined braking system (UBS), with a front disc and rear drum, a common solution in the category and sufficient for the model’s performance.
The blackout digital panel enhances contrast and readability, with gear indicator and ECO function.
In the DX version, the LED headlight with integrated position light and the colored wheels enhance the visual appeal.
Prices, Versions, and Colors of the 2025 Line

The current line is offered in two options. The Standard is the entry-level model and has a suggested price of R$ 18,290, excluding freight.
The DX starts at R$ 18,790, also excluding freight. The colors vary according to the configuration.
In the Standard: Sports White, Red Hot, and Black Eclipse. In the DX: Silver Beskar, Racing Blue, and Midnight Black.
Yamaha also announces an accessory pack for the DX — featuring USB charger (types A and C) and center stand — offered for R$ 500.
Dealership Network and Service
Another differentiator is predictability in after-sales. Yamaha maintains a policy of fixed-price services and free labor on the first two</strong scheduled visits, provided they are within the timeframes indicated in the manual.
For the 2025 Factor 150, the prices indicated by dealerships are:
1000 km – R$ 162
5000 km – R$ 108
10000 km – R$ 396
15000 km – R$ 486
20000 km – R$ 396
25000 km – R$ 240
30000 km – R$ 654
Transparency helps the owner plan expenses and keep the motorcycle up to date.
Why the Factor 150 is Cost-Effective
In addition to a competitive purchase price, the combination of predictable maintenance, three-year warranty, and good parts availability in the authorized network sustains its reputation as “easy to maintain.”
For those who cover many kilometers in delivery services or urban commuting, the economy per kilometer and the known service schedule tend to weigh more than sophisticated features.
In this scenario, the Factor 150 fulfills the role of both a work tool and daily mobility without sacrificing useful features, such as a complete panel and improved lighting in the DX version.

Ideal Audience for the Model
Those seeking a versatile, robust motorcycle with low operating costs will find the Factor to be a coherent package.
Sufficient performance for avenues and urban areas, low consumption, friendly ergonomics, and defined after-sales values.
For buyers who do not compromise on a more striking design and LED lighting, the DX adds aesthetic and convenience features for a small suggested price difference, maintaining the same mechanics and proposal as the Standard.
With this set of attributes, what aspect does the Factor 150 weigh most in your purchasing decision today: consumption, service price, or equipment?
