The New Electric Motorcycle by Pininfarina, Eysing PF40 Can Run Up to 100 Km with a Top Speed of 45 Km/h
The Pininfarina, known for designing legendary vehicles for companies like Ferrari and Maserati, among others, has signed another premium model, the new Eysing PF40 electric motorcycle.
In Europe, the PF40 model from Eysing is known as a moped, which refers to a low-power vehicle similar to the famous fifty here in Brazil. But the similarities of the Pininfarina electric motorcycle stop here, as the new design is a luxury item.
The motorcycle, manufactured by the Dutch company Eysing, is a reminiscence of the 1930s on two wheels, but it was designed with today’s low-speed mobility in mind.

The PF40 comes with a vehicle monitoring system that can be accessed through the Eysing app, even if it is lost or stolen, security professionals from the app will be able to track and recover it.
The electric motorcycle model signed by Pininfarina will cost 13,780 euros (equivalent to over R$ 76 thousand when directly converted), and deliveries are expected to begin by 2024.
The electric motorcycle is available with top speeds of 25 or 45 kilometers per hour, and its frame even resembles that of a bicycle, although it has extraordinarily large wheels by today’s standards (26 inches).

Pininfarina’s Electric Motorcycle in Partnership with Eysing Has Its 2 Kw Motor Positioned at the Bottom
As you can see, the electric motor that produces 2 kW is positioned at the bottom, resulting in a gap in the middle of the vehicle. The model weighs only 60 kg, which is equivalent to the weight of a fifty here in Brazil. When configured simply, Pininfarina’s electric motorcycle can carry 115 kg of cargo.
The PF40 has a 1720 WH battery that provides a range of up to 100 kilometers on a single charge and can be recharged anywhere. With a fast charger, it takes four hours; with a conventional charger, you need to wait twice as long.
