Moura’s Electric Bike Arrives on the Market to Revolutionize with 32 km/h Top Speed and 100 km Range. The E-Bike Costs About R$ 7 Thousand and Is Available for Tests.

Moura, a Brazilian company famous for its batteries, recently launched an e-bike called Ella as part of its urban mobility initiatives. The electric bike from Moura was developed to meet the commuting demands of large cities, such as São Paulo, and uses a lithium-ion battery produced by Moura itself.

Moura’s Electric Bike Delivers Up to 32 km/h

The E-Bike Ella is considered a pedal-assisted model, equipped with an electric motor that provides up to three levels of adjustable assistance. According to Moura, the battery allows the vehicle a range of 100 kilometers, with a full recharge cycle taking about six hours.

The motor of Moura’s electric bike enables the model to reach a top speed of 32 km/h, also offering a specific assist mode for climbs that reduces the effort required on inclined terrains.

The e-bike features hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels, front fork suspension, an eight-speed gearbox, and a more upright riding position, contributing to stability and control during use.

According to the company itself, the development of the electric bike is part of its strategy to broaden sustainable solutions in Brazil. The initiative also aims to meet mobility demands in large urban centers, highlighting that the accumulated experience in energy solutions was applied to the project.

Bruno Loução, manager of new business at Rede Moura, states that the company’s goal in developing a Moura electric bike was to create a solution that effectively meets urban mobility demands in a practical way.

How to Buy the Moura Bike?

The E-Bike Ella, Moura’s electric bike, combines modern design and smart functionalities, with quality finishing, standing out in the market and featuring an integrated LCD display that optimizes the journey.

Equipped with a Shimano eight-speed gearbox, the e-bike offers a smooth experience across various terrains. Those interested in Moura’s vehicle should take the time to try out this incredible mobility alternative.

Moura conducted test rides of the E-Bike Ella in some of the main locations in São Paulo, giving interested parties the opportunity to experience the efficiency and comfort of this bike up close. From the very first moment, visitors could feel the difference that the combination of technology and design provides.

The test ride of Moura’s electric bike in São Paulo not only presents a new form of mobility to citizens but also leaves a lasting impression on how small changes can lead to a more sustainable future.

Is It Possible to Ride the Electric Bike on the Streets?

One of the main doubts among interested individuals is related to the regulation for use on urban roads. These vehicles can circulate on the streets; however, they must comply with certain rules, such as using bike lanes and respecting traffic signals and pedestrian priority. It is also important to use safety equipment, such as helmets and lights at night.

Another common question, according to information from Moura, is regarding the need for a driver’s license. According to the resolution 996/2023 from Contran, it is not necessary to have a license to ride electric bikes.

Thus, anyone can ride Moura’s electric bike as long as they are aware of the basic safety rules. However, the use of protective equipment, such as helmets, is highly recommended to ensure safety while riding.

It is also important to mention that, in most cases, registration is not required, as the e-bike is considered a conventional bicycle as long as it has a motor with a maximum power of up to 1000 W and an assisted speed that does not exceed 32 km/h. If it exceeds this value, it will be classified as a motor vehicle, requiring registration and a license for use.
