Multinational Voltalia Completes Installation of World Operations Center for Renewable Energies in RN
The main idea of the project is to benefit the Mossoró region with wind energy; Voltalia claims that the venture has a great chance of being successful.
On the 13th, the phase of preliminary testing for the remote operation of the wind farms in the RN region will begin. The invested amount is over 4 million reais and will initially create more than 80 jobs.

“I have a great appreciation for announcing that my beloved state will be responsible for creating a project of this size. I believe this is a very important step for the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in addition to generating over 80 jobs, we will also be able to work together on a more qualified workforce,” highlighted the governor of the state of RN.
Investments of the Multinational Voltalia in RN
Initially, in the RN regions, the multinational Voltalia will invest in various areas, with highlights for: Serra do Mel, São Miguel do Gostoso, and Areia Branca. By the year 2023, the estimated investments in renewable energies in Rio Grande do Norte are R$ 2.5 million. “I know we already have an average of 590MW being operated in the state; I estimate that an additional 340 will go into operation by the end of this year 2020,” added Eduardo Rego.
