Release Reinforces Commitment to Compliance of Engevix Business Group, Which Has Over 50 Years of Experience and Has Previously Partnered with Petrobras on Projects
The Nova Participações group, controller of Nova Engevix Engenharia, received approval from Petrobras to participate in state tenders again. The authorization took almost a year to be finalized, in a process that reinforces the company’s commitment to its compliance program.

In November 2019, the Nova group signed a leniency agreement with the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU) and the Attorney General of the Union (AGU). Additionally, there was a complete reorganization of the company, starting from a strict compliance standard. Meeting all the requirements of the oil company, Engevix will now advance in its requalification with Petrobras to become a fixed supplier for the state-owned company.
“Our integrity program is quite robust, also having an autonomous governance board to monitor the implementation of actions and the effectiveness of risk prevention mechanisms”, highlights Luiz Fernando Pugliesi, director of new business at Nova Participações. In July, the company also joined the Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption, promoted by Instituto Ethos.
