On June 7th (Wednesday), the governor of Paraná, Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, participated in the official inauguration of the first industrial unit of Lacticínios Tirol in the state, in Ipiranga, in Campos Gerais. The 33,1 thousand square meter constructed area will generate 160 direct jobs at this initial stage, in addition to other hundreds of indirect jobs. Details of the New Factory Built in the State of Paraná
The new factory in Paraná was built on a constructed area of 33,1 thousand m², and already has a daily production of 600 thousand liters of milk with the potential to expand to 1,2 million liters. In addition to involving a chain of over 150 suppliers, the unit has 160 direct jobs and begins its activities exclusively for the production of long-life milk (UHT), with the possibility of including new dairy products.
The governor of Paraná who participated in the inauguration of the factory said that with Tirol, the state now houses another major company in the country. An important achievement for job and income generation in the Campos Gerais region, not to mention the strengthening of our dairy basin.

Carlos Massa also emphasizes that the new factory of the company serves as a kind of business card, attracting more investments to Paraná. Consequently, more jobs, income, and development across the state.
The Project and Its Relationship with Technology
Planned in a linear way, the factory is fully optimized, balanced, and configured with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment. The modernity of the project is also present in the Innovation Center incorporated into the unit, which has a structure aimed at the development of new products. The space will host part of the company’s technical team, which is divided between Ipiranga and Treze Tílias.
The commercial director of Tirol, Jossemar Olivo, states that Paraná is already one of the company’s largest dairy markets and this investment in the factory is part of the expansion plans in the state and the growth of national and international distribution. The goal is to establish itself as one of the leading industries in the sector in the country.
